About the Event
Typically $200 a class, as a special one time offer, this class is only $100!
This class will demonstrate:
Procedure for dyeing the raffia
Learn 5-strand plaiting raffia
Wire attachment
Pre-plaited Raffia will be hand-sewn over a polyurethane or wooden hat block.
You will be taught how to make a pattern for a lining which is optional for the raffia hat.
How to sew a Petersham ribbon on the inside of the hat
Go home with a finished hat
The kit will contain pre-plaited raffia, raffia to hand sew the pre-plaited raffia, and a tapestry needle to sew the raffia.

Date: Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th
