About the Event
My felt hat-making class covers the blocking of one felt hood or capeline. Bring your own block or use ours.
In addition to blocking, we will cover:
how to design your hat
what is the process of felting
dying the felt if you want to have a certain color
what are the different sizing used for felt
wiring the felt
making a pattern for the lining
sweatbands used in felt
Go home with a finished hat.
The kit includes a felt hood or capeline, wire, sizing, and a sweatband.
