About the Event
My felt hat-making class covers the blocking of one felt hood or capeline. Bring your own block or use ours.
In addition to blocking, we will cover:
How to design your hat
What the process of felting looks like
Dying the felt if you want to have a certain color
What are the different sizing used for felt
Wiring the felt
Making a pattern for the lining
Sweatbands used in felt
Take home a finished hat!
The class includes a kit containing a felt hood or capeline, wire, sizing, and a sweatband.
Cost: $200
